As synthetic organic chemist you are working as part of a project team on the development of safe and scalable synthetic routes for products which are mainly in the early clinical development stage. In the role of chemist you will have a key task in the project team, working closely together with the departments of analytical and solid state chemistry, and manufacturing. In this role you will be expected to spend the majority of your time doing experimental work. In addition you will perform literature studies, write project updates and reports, assist/supervise manufacturing campaigns in kg-lab and pilot-plant. You will need to be result driven, pragmatic and always with an eye on quality and safety. Key words: - route scouting- process development and scale-up- impurity identification- Impurity and marker synthesis
Functie-eisen
- Preferably you hold a PhD degree in organic chemistry. Alternatively you hold an MSc degree in combination with several years of experience in the industry. - Proven track record with respect to small molecule synthesis.- Experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.- Experience in parallel and flow chemistry is welcomed. - Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Fluent in English.- A good working and quality attitude, accurate, with an eye for detail.- Team player
